There are numerous hiking trails and waterfalls. Sugar Mountain and Beech Mountain offer skiing in the winter and mountain biking in the summer. There is exceptional mountain biking as close as 8 miles from the house. Zip lines and other attractions near by.

The apartment steps out onto a private lower deck overlooking the lake. Our place is good for couples, adventurers, business people, and families.

It has a heated indoor pool so even in the winter time you can enjoy the water with view of the lake. There is a dock as well. So if you happen to want to enjoy the lake, you can. The house has its own boat ramp so if you want to bring your own boat you can. If not there are places to rent them from. Hope you come and enjoy our piece of paradise.

Located a few blocks from Hickory’s Union Square, this 1930’s bungalow offers convenient access to the Downtown shops and restaurants with the serenity and privacy of its enclosed garden yard which includes an outdoor cabana shower, patio and rock fire pit.
