Our cabin is rustic yet enchanting. Hand-built in 1947, Longacres is the perfect cozy place to unplug and unwind. But if you need high-speed internet, you’ve got it! Old Town Manteo is a charming harbor town where you will feel far from the beach boxes and OBX crowds. Longacres is 1 mile from downtown, a 5 minute walk to the Roanoke Sound and a 12 minute drive to the Nags Head beaches. To complete your adventure, we provide bikes and kayaks so you can explore the water and town at your own pace.

See our "hall of art" where each hallway is an art galleries Laney Layton of Edenton working as an artist since 1973. Just look for her signatures. You tube "tour of Manteo nc" to see this special location in the heart of downtown on a 2nd floor overlooking the lighthouse and Shallowbag bay. Walk to restaurants, bars, shops, docks, and Festival Park/Elizabeth II. Visit The Lost Colony/Fort Raleigh/Elizabethan Gardans, NC Aquarium, and Jockey's Ridge. We have created this cottage as a place for couples, remote workers, small families or friends seeking a unique space unwind. The space is decorated in nautical theme with collectibles & décor we hope you will enjoy. Stay with us relax, and enjoy Manteo's charm. We do allow pets with a small additional cleaning fee on a case by case basis. Feel free to ask us anything.

Crews Cottage on Roanoke Island (Outer Banks, NC)

Located in the forested dunes of Roanoke Island, Crews Cottage is attached to the main house of owners through a breezeway and screened porch. No steps! (See Accessibility section.) Approximately 1000 square feet in total size, it features a large private bedroom (queen bed) with bathroom/shower. The great room has a pullout sofa bed (full) and love seat bed (twin). Kitchenette features full-sized refrigerator, convection microwave oven, toaster, and coffee maker. Sorry, no pets.

OBX Village Studio

A hidden gem, the quiet fishing village of Wanchese is tucked away on the southernmost tip of Roanoke Island. While conveniently located minutes from Nags Head beaches, Downtown Manteo, Jennette's Pier, the Aquarium and Ft. Raleigh, the Village offers visitors a truly authentic Outer Banks experience in a relaxed setting. Rich in history, Wanchese is named after an Indian Chief and is home to numerous Boat Builders and Seafood Markets.

Oh yeah, Nags Head beach, just 6 miles away!
