Come relax and play in the great outdoors. Our area is abundant with lakes, rivers, waterfalls and hiking (the Appalachian trail is just a mile away). Our rustic cabin is built from 1875 hand hewn logs and is located on Spivey Creek in Unicoi County Tennessee. The towns of Erwin TN and Burnsville NC are just down the mountain for shopping convenience. For the arts, entertainment and airport convenience Asheville NC and Johnson City TN are less than an hour away. Come stay in our lovely cabin.

Let your heart rejuvenate while listening to the creek and soaking in the beauty of the horse farm. This newly finished upstairs loft/cabin is part of an old historic barn built in the 1800s and used as one of the first Pony Express! Uniquely decorated with large windows and a great view of the pastures and distant mountains, your sanctuary is only 6 miles to Damascus, VA, 45 min. to Boone, NC, and 25 min. to Abingdon, VA. Enjoy the Cherokee National Forest trail leading to a double waterfall!

Dreamy Storybook Cabin in the Woods

*If it snows, you will need 4WD or AWD.* Jake's Cabin is a rustic private cabin located at Misty Hollow Roan Mountain Retreat. Please read the entire listing for detailed information and instructions for your stay. There is a queen bed in the main bedroom as well as a twin size bed in the semi-private loft. Bear Cabin sleeps 2 adults comfortably with up to 2 children. One on the twin in the loft and one on the futon in the living area. Please bring bedding for the futon if you plan to use.

Hoss’s Tiny House

The tiny house is located behind a big garage with a large gravel parking lot. It is very secluded and quaint away from the main road. The parking area is behind at the back porch on the tiny house were you can sit and enjoy peace and quiet. We are 1 mi from South Holston Lake. 2 mi from Creeper Trail, 6 mi Main Street Abingdon, 8 mi downtown Bristol, 10 mi Bristol Speedway. We have farm animals in the fields beside the tiny house that are very friendly. All the farm animals enjoy visitors.
