The West Park is a park in the district of Munich Sendling-Westpark. It was created for the International Horticultural Exhibition (IGA) in 1983 and is freely accessible since the end. The West Park is great for an extension in an east-west distance of about 2.4 kilometers 69 hectares. He is the Middle Ring (Garmischer Straße) divided into an eastern and western section, which are connected by a leafy, wide pedestrian and bicycle overpass. A green oasis in the big city just 5 walking minutes away from the appartement. Many locals spend their fee time doing sports in the park, go for a common walk with friends or just relax on the nice beergarden "Café Gans am Wasser" (transl.= Coffee Duck at the water ) on the shore of the Mollsee.
