Crail Museum and Heritage centre is the place to go to find out about the history of the local area. There is a special collection relating to HMS Jackdaw which was the Naval Air Station at Crail Airfield during World War II and a language school for the military during the Cold War in the 1950s and early 1960s. Also of note is the information held there about the local fishing industry and the heritage of the village.
