Address: 2031 Jackson St, Fort Myers, FL 33901 Open:10 am - 5 pm. The museum is in historic downtown Ft. Myers, in a former Atlantic Coast Line Railroad depot at 2031 Jackson Street. Set in an old depot, this museum chronicles the area's history from the prehistoric to the pioneers. Although this is a small museum, it has some very interesting historical exhibits and material. Take a few hours to really appreciate all it has to offer! Very interesting facts about Indian tribes, Fl. crackers and animals. They have a beautiful train car you can go in to look around & small gift shop. They change the main display up all the time. If you are in the area this is an informative place to stop.
