A Buena Vista get away for 140 years. Enjoy its crystal clear waters and a picnic hunting for wild strawberries. You can rent paddle boards and kayaks and really take it all in. Great fishing as well. In the winter you will see ice fishing which is pretty fun.

Locals favorite for lake-side fishing, small boat fishing (no motors) and stand up paddleboarding. You can often see ducks, beavers, nutria swimming around and sometimes moose!

Fantastic mountainous lake setting with plenty of beaches and picnic areas, just 25min outside of downtown! There are plenty of four-wheeling roads just beyond the lake as well that will take you deep into the mountains.

Good fishing, we hear. We are not fishermen but have camped there and enjoyed walking around the lake. Beautiful!
