Really cute little town 30 minutes south. Visit the pub, go gold panning.

This is a wonderful information and walk for the locals and tourists alike. There is plenty to see and do in Ross and a great history of the Gold Mining industry. Stop in and see the locals at the pub and have a feed. And you can also have a crack at getting a 'hole in one' on the man made lake. Plenty of prizes to be won.

Contains a unique mini gold mining settlement that you can look in. Has some great walks with scenic views. You can try your hand at gold panning, just visit the tourist center for more information.
