You have got to try this! Russian dumplings, get the meat, they have potato as a vegetarian option. Located downtown open till 3 am.

If you're looking for a quick late night snack, Pel'meni is open until 1:30am. These beef Russian dumplings are a big staple around here for latenight bargoers, but here's a secret: If you order some, they'll automatically give you the beef version. But they actually have a potato version as well! And I prefer it. That being said, if you're not a vegetarian, it's worth getting the beef ones before getting some potato ones (even though I think the potato ones are better). Forewarning: This place is cash only.

Pel'meni is on the Wharf and is also a local favorite that most people don't know about. This little restaurant brings the flavors of Russia to Juneau. I recommend ordering one serving per each person in your party, and two sour creams each. If you dip your portions in the sour cream it just ties all the flavors together.

Popular Russian dumpling eatery that is cheap and stays open late. There are only 2 things on the menu: meat or potato dumplings. Make sure to eat it with a side of sour cream.
