Pub feel with a cultural twist. Local artists, writers and all kinds of creative people regularly meet here. A literary club called Nepotul lui Thoreau (Thoreau's Nephew) meets here for readings and fierce criticism on Wednesday or Thursday evenings.

One of the most frequented bars by students, local artists, hipsters, wannabe hipsters, but also low key nice people. It's pretty iconic so it's worth checking it out.

Hungarian pub, one of the oldest in Cluj. Nice post-modernism details. If you are in a hurry don't go there because the service is usually slow.
