Mansour’s Men’s Wear, that is celebrating its 95th anniversary this year (2019) and has been recognized as the Lebanese Business of the Year for Nova Scotia. The story began when Mike Mansour – came to Canada from Lebanon in 1914 – moved into the store’s present quarters in 1924. He was joined by Theo Mansour, in 1926, while Mike’s son, Norman, joined in 1944. Theo’s son, Robert, would join the business in the 1970s and his son, Mikhial, a grad of Saint Mary’s University joined the company in 2015 and has embraced the use of social media to attract customers to both the online store and the physical building in downtown Amherst.
