Welcome to Goonieville! Directly across from the Flavel House, the Film Museum is the scene of memorable moments from the movie. A very easy two block walk from your stay.

The old Clatsop County Jail, once feature in the film "Goonies" is open as a museum for films produced or filmed in part in Oregon.

Who knew Hollywood has been making films in Oregon since 1908! Astoria has been the backdrop of many favorites. The most famous is The Goonies by Steven Spielberg. The museum is full of interactive exhibits sharing this history.

Located in Astoria, this former jail has now become the Oregon Film Museum, dedicated to movies made in the state of Oregon. You’ll find costumes and memorabilia from The Goonies, Kindergarten Cop, Free Willy, Twilight, Sometimes a Great Notion, and National Lampoon’s Animal House.
