It was great! Our host was friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. Took 4 hours to make a railroad-spike knife and sheath. Small cozy workshop. Bring warm clothing if not in the summer. Bring water and snacks. The experience takes a minimum of 4 hours, but AirBnb doesn't allow it to show that way. Please message host about length of time as some knives take longer.

Gave this experience to my husband for his birthday. And I went along to take pictures. What a fun experience! You can walk in knowing absolutely nothing about how to make your own knife and you walk out with a cool looking knife of your own design that you can feel proud of. Would highly recommend if this is something that interests you.

Getting out of comfort zone is a challenge for everyone. Mike made it safe and comfortable to us. He is a great host sharing his knowledge and offering a truly unique experience in today's world!
