You'll want to get there early to get a parking spot in the lot. Take snacks, water and sunblock to enjoy some time in the water.
Swimming Hole, picnic area, cliff jumping. The area is shaded, and water is quite cool, so towels, hiking shoes that can be worn in water, great for hot summer days. There is an Entrance fee $9.00 for car to enter and park, opens at 9a.m and its about 120 yards walk down to the swimming hole.
Just north of uptown, this is a fee area, but great access to the creek, picnicking, swimming and more.
Very popular State Park in the summer. Bring a picnic/blanket or towels like you're going to the beach. Find a spot along the bank of Oak Creek and enjoy. Rock wall jumping spot. Paid parking that fills up fast.
